CHILI COOK OFF RULES 

Cooking Rules: 

Single entry or teams welcome, there is a team maximum of 4 people. Set up location will be on a first come basis. Contestants must furnish their own ingredients, equipment, utensils and fuel. All contestants are responsible for maintenance of the chili’s proper temperature for serving. NO LIMIT TRADE SHOWS will provide spoons, cups and napkins for serving to the general public. Chili must be prepared outdoors at the site ONLY. There will be only ONE People’s Choice Judging award. First, Second and Third place awards will be given to the Judge's Choice winners. The entry fee is $100 per TEAM entered.. All of the Judge's samples need to be turned in by 12pm. Tasting for the People's Choice award will be from 12pm - 1PM (AFTER EVERY JUDGE HAS THEIR SAMPLE.) Tabulation will be at 1PM for BOTH Judge's awards and People's Choice Awards and winners announced at 2pm! Ingredients: Use your favorite recipe, with or without meat, with or without beans. Meat may be beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey or venison. Ingredients may be cut, shredded or ground to any size. Pre-cooked beans are okay. Chili Rules: Each contestant must cook a minimum of 3 gallons of chili. Each contestant or team will be given a contestant number. Your number will be visible to the public. The voters may purchase a ticket (1 ticket for $1 OR 20 tickets for $10) to drop off in the People's Choice box at the front desk inside the GUN SHOW. The tickets will be numbered 1-5 with 1 being the worse chili and 5 being the best chili. The ticket will also have a spot for the booth number. We will add up the total score per booth to determine the People's Choice WINNER. TO BE FAIR.. The more people you know the better chance you have of winning! (SO BRING YOUR WHOLE FAMILY, FRIENDS, BOYFRIEND, GIRLFRIEND, EX, SIDE GIRLFRIEND, SIDE BOYFRIEND, ETC..) Chili Cook Off Schedule: Outdoor Set Up: 7am-START COOKING AT 9AM - Chili must be ready to serve at 12PM. NO LATE ENTRIES Bring your chili and set up your table. You may decorate your table however you feel. You are welcome to promote your business. 

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE FREE ADMISSION TO THE GUN & KNIFE SHOW FOR THE WEEKEND
